Per Japan Post, there may be some delays in delivery of your shipments due to a typhoon that hit Japan yesterday September 4.
Fukuoka, where we are located, was OK. But the international airport Japan Post uses to ship most of our shipments is located in Osaka, and it's where the typhoon hit the hardest.
Kansai International Airport has been closed because of the flood due to the typhoon.
There are other international airports around the country, and Japan Post will divert shipments to them. But that will very likely cause delays in delivery of international shipments.
We send you shipping bills and ship our shipments to Japan Post as long as they accept. They will keep the shipments and ship them out slowly from their Fukuoka warehouse.
We are afraid that we don't know how long the delay would be, but please keep this in mind when you make payment for your shipments.
EMS, International Parcel and Small Packets would be affected.
If you are in a hurry, we recommend you request FedEx when you make a shipping request. They use Narita Airport in Tokyo area, so they should deliver shipments faster than EMS.
Thank you for your understanding.
